Experience

Extensive experience in intellectual property, digital law and technology. Expertise in complex disputes involving trademarks, trade dress, patents, copyrights, software, trade secrets and publicity rights. Has also handled several online-related cases, involving matters such as content-removal, liability of online platforms, defamation, relationship between brands and influencers, processing of personal data, domain name disputes, intellectual property violations in the digital environment, among others. Strong experience in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as arbitration, mediation and negotiation.

Spent two years at leading foreign law firms in the US and Europe. Worked with digital law at the New York offices of White & Case, having also passed the New York Bar Exam. Also worked at Trevisan & Cuonzo Avvocati, an Italian boutique specializing in IP and innovation, having had close contact with recent European regulations that are changing the global landscape in tech law, such as the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

  • Creator and organizer of  the 1st CSD-ABPI Moot – IP Arbitration Moot from the Brazilian IP Association;
  • Has coordinated the of the study group on IP Arbitration from the CJA/CBMA (Brazilian Center of Arbitration and Mediation);
  • Member of the IP Arbitraton and Mediation study group from the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr);
  • Member of the WIPO ADR Young (group of Young professionals from the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center).
